It Goes On
Hey, how are ya?!
I am a big fan of browsing the Internet and seeing what notable authors, athletes, poets, celebrities, and artists have said. Nothing invigorates me more than a motivational quote. Recently, I came across a conversation between a reporter and the famous American poet, Robert Frost. Although Frost is best known for his poem, “The Road Not Taken,” it is what he said later on in his life that stands out to me.
The reporter, his good friend, asked following his 80th birthday celebration, “In all your years and all your travels, what do you think is the most important thing you’ve learned about life?”

Robert Frost paused a moment and replied: “In three words, I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life. It Goes On… It always has. It always will. Don’t forget that.”
I began thinking more about his answer. And I quickly realized how accurate it was, and still is. Robert Frost lived a tough life, outliving four of his six children. But throughout all of those hardships, he always stayed strong.
It Goes On
Learning more about Robert frost makes me think about handling challenging situations. Everybody deals with pain, but no matter what happens to us: the good and the bad – the next day always comes. Then a new day comes after, filled with new opportunities. We cannot always control what happens to us, but we must stay positive.
