Staying Patient At Home
Hey, how are ya?!
What if I told you a couple of years ago that in 2020 there would be a global pandemic that caused: businesses to close, postponement and cancellation of professional sports, broadway shows, movie releases, etc., and that students would be forced to take classes online. And, that the best possible way to end the pandemic would be staying patient at home while waiting on updates from government officials on how to best prevent the pandemic from getting worse while quarantining yourself at your own home for months.
Well…that is actually happening.
As much as this situation stinks for everyone, things are starting to get better. Many businesses are reopening, professional sports are planning their returns, and new movies are skipping their theater premieres in order to be immediately available on various streaming services so that we all can watch from our own homes.
The world definitely seemed as if it were flipped upside down for most of 2020, but it is slowly turning back around — one day at a time. I know these past few months have been extremely challenging, but know that positive things will come. Just know that I, someone with autoimmune issues, am extremely grateful to everyone staying patient and following the government’s safety guidelines. And if we keep staying patient at home, only more good things will come.
