Do What You Gotta Do
“I’m worried about the unknowns of the future”
“I’m insecure about my speech”
“It bothers me that I can’t always be independent”
These are a few of the fears that can cause me anxiety.
That is a question that I ask myself when I need to fight through negative thoughts.
I used to let fears bottle up. Then, I made a promise to myself to stop letting them fester. It is important to me to acknowledge them in a positive manner and let them go. Sometimes that means talking to a friend, painting, writing in a private journal, exercising, singing, dancing or idk hula-hooping. The point is: do what ya gotta do.
I also used to worry that others would judge me for this. Then I just started thinking, “who cares what others think when I am improving myself and increasing my happiness?”
There are roughly 7.5 billion people in the world. I’m sure every single person has fears, worries, and insecurities. However, you are not the only one suffering so you shouldn’t let your problems dictate how you live.
Everybody has issues to deal with. At first, they can feel larger than life. However, there is always a way to overcome those challenges. You just need to face those issues head first and grow through them.
